Etsy Shop and Teru Teru Bozu

I’ve started an Etsy shop. I’ll be selling crocheted dolls and accessories handmade by yours truly. Eventually I’d like to add other things as well, but for now I’m just testing out the waters.

I love to crochet so I figured I might as well and see if I can turn my hobby into a side business as well. After all there’s nothing wrong with a little dabbling in the art of ‘supplementing my income’. Of course I have to sell things first.

I currently have up for sale, three crocheted teru teru bozu amigurumi charms. Think of them as your very own Ichi, Ni, and San. Indeed the rainy day brothers were in quite impressive form the other day as scattered showers and storms infiltrated Central Florida.

I just started a Zazzle shop @* , go ahead and check it out! I have two designs currently up. Hoping to add more soon. Speaking of 'Rainy Day Blues', it's been pretty rainy here in the Sunshine State the past couple of days. The skies are a lovely and cheerful shade of gray and although it started out hot and humid, a nice breeze has been picking up. I have my own Teru Teru Bozu (crocheted by me) hanging up by my window. It seems that just like the little troublemakers on my shirt though that this particular Teru Teru Bozu isn't doing their job. I also have a redbubble shop!

Not dead, just busy

Like the title says I have not fallen into a deep, dark chasm, never to return again. I am merely mortal and as such have a very impaired attention span/lack of focus. Well, amongst other worries, but nevertheless that does not excuse a complete lack of communication. I am indeed working on the next comic.
Which unfortunately, although almost done, still missed my self-imposed Sunday deadline. I got to say I like how this one is turning out. Not to mention that this comic marks the debut of the Wolf in his 'wolf-boy' form instead of just his normal 'gigantic wolf' form.
FYI both of these characters are actually from a comic that I've been working on, editing, revising, so forth and so on, for several years now. Which brings me to the original point of this comic. I'm trying to start off with 'short story' comics until I think I can keep some sort of schedule, as well as to teach myself how to churn out pages faster. Both that I'm sort of failing at miserably at the moment.
However! The main reason I did this comic was to actually start and finish a comic, regardless of whether it was a short one or not. After all I do have a tendency to get sidetracked with my comics and then try to move onto something else when my mind becomes stricken with wanderlust. I am determined to officially be able to say I finished a comic. I've made a guesstimate that I am roughly about halfway done.
Well, I just wanted to say that I am hard at work and not neglecting my web comic artist duties. I should have a new page up in time for Sunday. I'm also working on a couple other designs, but that's besides the point. Either way I bid thee adieu and now it's about time to hit the hay. I have a busy week after all. Till later~

Life is Sweet... new shirt design

I just put up a new design on my redbubble shop, Life is Sweet..., so feel free to check it out~! Not really a story behind this design so much as an idea.
I love stuffed animals, there's something about them that feels very whimsical and harkens back to the days of my youth when the simple things made me smile. I can picture this little stuffed cat, perhaps nestled amongst some leaves at the bottom of a tree, looking over a child who's running through a meadow of flowers at dusk, a warm summer breeze gently running through the meadow.
The field of flowers that bears resemblance to the sea, as the stalks of tall grass laps gently in the wind. It's almost as if time is standing still, because when you're a child time means nothing to you, everything seems to go on forever, days blending into one.
However, it's getting late and surely you must get home before dark sets in and your mother begins to worry. So you gather up your faithful feline companion into your arms and all the while the wind seems to guide you back home, gingerly urging you forward as it pushes against your back.
Yeah, not so much a story as a feeling, or an idea. I guess it just makes me feel nostalgic. Anyway, speaking of dusk, it's getting dark outside and I need to walk my loyal companion, and stout Shiba Inu, Watson. Till Later~!

Getting the ball rolling...

I'm starting a redbubble shop and have just posted my first design, Reaper & I. If anyone is interested in more of my work feel free to check out my deviantart page. I'll be posting a few more designs in the next couple of days and I'll be straightening things up on this blog too. This blog will be dedicated to me slowly, but surely building up my artist rep in the design world, amongst other things. Also I have a webcomic, Red Fox, Black Wolf, on smackjeeves, please check it out if you feel up for a short, but sweet retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. It's getting late, but I'll definitely be posting soon. So until later, bonsoir~!
